- Engineering & other technical or vocational courses would receive a reward of INR 9,000
- Medical & allied courses would receive a scholarship reward of INR 10,000

Dr Ambedkar Scholarship of Haryana – Eligibility
In order to be qualified for Dr Ambedkar scholarship, candidates need to achieve certain eligibility conditions as per the demand of the scholarship terms and conditions. Below is the list of eligibility criteria of Dr Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatar Sanshodhit Yojna.
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Haryana.
- The candidate must belong to the categories of Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Backward Class (BC)/ Vimukt Jati/ DNTs/ Taprivas.
- The annual family income must not be more than INR 4 lakh from all sources.
- The applicant must not be availing the benefit of any merit-based scheme. He/She can receive the benefits of any other scholarship.
- The candidate must be studying in class 11 to post graduation as a regular, full-time student in a government/ private/ recognised schools/colleges/universities & institutions.
The candidates must secure the following marks in the class to avail the scholarship.
1. Class 11/Diploma/Certificate courses (1st year)
- 70 in matriculation
- For (Block-B) students, 80 in matric
- 60 in matriculation
- For BC (Block-B) students, 75 in matric
2. 1st year of Graduation which includes Arts/Commerce/Science discipline/ all Diploma/Certificate courses (1st year)/ Engineering & other technical or vocational courses/ Medical & allied courses
- 75 in class 12 board exam
- 70 in class 12 board exam
3. 1st year of Post Graduation which includes Arts/Commerce/Science discipline/ Engineering & other technical or vocational courses/ Medical & allied courses
- 65 in graduation
- 60 in graduation

To make the process of application and submission of scholarship form easy and simple, the Government of Haryana has made the application available on the department website (www.haryanascbc.gov.in) from where the students can download the scholarship appeal. Given below is stepwise information about how to apply for Dr Ambedkar Scholarship, Haryana.
- Step 1: The candidates should visit the official website of Welfare of Scheduled Castes & Backward Classes Department of the Haryana Government.
- Step 2: Then, click on ‘Register’ and complete the registration process.
- Step 3: Log in using the registered ID and password to proceed further.

Dr Ambedkar Scholarship Haryana – Key Documents

This scholarship is sponsored by the Central Government of India and offers a scholarship amount of up to INR 350 per month for a period of 10 months along with a book and ad-hoc grant of up to INR 1,000. This Dr Ambedkar scholarship of Haryana state is for domiciled SC students of Haryana who are studying in class 9 and 10. To avail this scholarship, the applicants must be studying as regular, full-time students in government schools or government-recognised schools or Central/State Board of Secondary Education. Also, the applicants’ annual family income must not be more than INR 2 lakh.
