Kalpana Chawla Chatravriti Yojana 2022 is a scholarship initiative by the Himachal Pradesh government to empower meritorious girl students who have completed class 12 in any stream. The initiative aims to bridge the gap in girls’ education by offering them financial assistance to pursue higher studies. Successful candidates will be awarded INR 15,000 per year.
Deadline and Eligibility
The deadline for application submission is 31st October 2022. To be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
– The applicant must be a girl student from Himachal Pradesh who has completed class 12 in any stream from the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education.
– The applicant must have taken admission as a regular student in an academic/professional/technical course at a recognized private institution or government-aided institution.

How to Apply
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship by following these steps:
1. Click on the ‘Apply Now’ link below.
2. Navigate to ‘Applicant Corner’ and click on ‘New Registration’.
3. Now click on ‘Click here for other Scholarship Schemes hosted on NSP for AY 2022-23’.
4. Read the guidelines carefully, select the undertaking, and ‘Continue’.
5. Select the state of domicile, scholarship category (Pre Matric), scheme type (scholarship scheme), gender, and write the applicant’s name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.
6. Provide the bank details (Bank name, IFSC Code, Account Number).
7. Select Aadhaar or Bank Account Number as identification detail and click on the ‘Register’ button.
8. The mobile number will be verified, and an OTP will be generated.
9. Now, log in using OTP and fill out the application form.
10. After successful submission of the application form, an application ID and password will be generated which can be used for future references.
Note: Applicants must fill the form correctly as no changes can be made after submission. It is advised to fill the form only once as multiple applications will lead to disqualification.

Selection Criteria
The selection of scholars will be based on the merit list provided by the HP Board of School Education, Dharamshala.
Scholarship Guidelines, Terms, and Conditions
– The girl student must clear the exam every year to continue receiving the scholarship.
– The scholarship will be awarded strictly on a merit basis declared by the HP Board of School Education, Dharamshala.
– In case of any dispute, the Director of Education’s decision will be final.
